PART-TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION
York Township is currently looking to hire a part-time maintenance employee, with the potential to become Full-Time. This position includes, but is not limited to, performing maintenance on York Township properties including lawn care, signs, roads, cemeteries, parks and buildings, and other duties as assigned or required.
Applicants should have general carpentry and repair experience, ability to use hand tools and power tools, operate lawn care, snowplow, and other equipment, able to stand, walk, climb, bend, crawl, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in all weather conditions. Must be able to work alone and with others, interact with residents, members of the public and other Township staff and officials in a pleasant and considerate manner, be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or G.E.D., have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and be insurable through the Township insurance carrier.
This position requires 20-30 hours per week
Payrate will be based on experience
