The York Township Historical Society’s Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, September 8 at 7:00 PM at the York Town Hall, 6609 Norwalk Rd, Medina.

September is our Annual meeting when our members elect Trustees to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Board consists of seven Trustees and four Officers. The Trustees serve for a two year term. Four Trustee positions are being elected for a two year term and One Trustee for a one year term. They are Linda Lucas, Linda Beardsley, Richard Collins, Martin Weigel  (two year) and Lori Eisenbrown  (one year). Members must be current with their dues to be able to vote. Dues are $5.00 a year and Lifetime is $50. You can give them to our treasurer, Art Hotchkiss, at the meeting.

The Board of Trustees elected the following officers to serve for 2026: Jim Eisenbrown, President; Kathy Kraus, Vice President; Janice Calame, Secretary; Art Hotchkiss, Treasurer.  

Program speakers Linda Beardsley and Christine Barnes will share the history and memories growing up on FranMar Farms, owned by their parents Frank and Marilyn Ehrman who were charter members of York Township Historical Society. A short business meeting will precede the program. Admission is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.
