November is the month we THANK and HONOR all those who served honorably in the military – in wartime or peace time. Everyone is asked to participate by bringing a picture of yourself or relative and share the branch they served under and year of service.

York Township Historical Society will meet on Monday, November 10 at 7:00 PM at the York Town Hall, 6609 Norwalk Rd, Medina. Guest speaker Kala Morlock, will present an interesting program on the early history of Spencer OH, including a story of a famous inventor from this small town in southwestern Medina County. Kala will be sharing pictures and stories of Spencer’s unique town’s history. Admission is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Bring a Door Prize to share. A short business meeting and recognition of those who served in the military will precede the program.
