York Township Historical Society is having a “Picnic in the Park” on Monday, August 12 at 6:00 PM at the York Township Pavilion, Columbia Rd in Mallet Creek. Bring a covered dish (or two) to share and your own table service. Beverages will be provided. After dinner, we are having a “Raise the Roof” auction to raise funds for our future Museum and Education Center. To make the auction successful, we are asking that you bring donations of baked goods, produce or flowers from your garden, gift cards from local businesses, or items from your home that would make nice gifts. This will be a fun auction so bring your cash or checks and enjoy the evening. Invite your family and friends. Guests are welcome and encouraged.
